Henderson, N.C. — Crossroads Christian School in Henderson dismissed students early Tuesday after a heating system failure.
On the school’s Web site, an image of a penguin carries the message: "Brrr ... It's too cold for school."
The school posted an alert to WRAL's closings system before 9:30 a.m. Parents were asked to pick up students no later than 10:30 a.m.
