Site SearchDurham, N.C. — Jarrod Alexander Carrington, 21, of Miriam Circle in Durha, died around 2 a.m. Tuesday after he stole a 1997 Lexus and crashed on U.S. Highway 15-501 at Hillsborough Road, according to Durham police.
Police say Carrington was speeding when he lost control on a curve, hit a guardrail, crossed the median and hit the concrete base of the highway sign.
Someone had reported the car stolen moments earlier from Roxboro Road and Club Boulevard, police said.
