Raleigh shooting victim dies

Raleigh, N.C. — A man shot on Monday evening has died of his wounds, and Raleigh police want to talk to three people seen running from the Poole Road area at the time of the shooting.

Andrew Willie Brown, 47, was shot while he was in the 2400 block of Poole Road around 7:45 p.m. Monday. He was taken to WakeMed, where he died Friday afternoon.

A surveillance camera caught three people running away from that area of Poole Road Monday evening. They may have headed to the Melvid Court area.

Two people wore all-dark clothing, and the third person wore dark pants and a light-colored shirt.

Investigators want to identify and find the people to determine if they have information helpful to the investigation.
