Warrenton, N.C. — Former Warren County Commissioner Clinton Alston died Wednesday morning.
Nicknamed "T-Bone," Alston served as a commissioner from 1996 until last November.
Commissioner Ulysses Ross said Alston's death was health-related. Alston had battled cancer for several years, he said.
Boyds Funeral Service in Warrenton is handling the funeral arrangements.

A Warren commissioner? Did he ever figure out who shot Kennedy? Look, he was a "Warren County commissioner". The headline is extremely misleading.
Rest in peace, T-Bone.
