Police have charged a Goldsboro man with animal cruelty after a pit bull puppy was thrown out of a second-story window.

Nine puppies were stolen on Dec. 2 from a home at 703 Franklin St., police said. When officers were trying to gain entry to a suspect's apartment recently, one of the puppies was tossed out a window, police said.

Jermel Shy’Kymn Jamison, 19, of 506 Courtyard Circle, also was charged with possession of a stolen dog and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. The last charge stems from the discovery of packages of a substance believed to be marijuana inside his apartment, police said.

Guessing from the fact that he tossed the dog out of a window that he wasn't keeping the pup as a beloved pet. Being tossed out the window probably saved that dog from being thrown into a dog fighting arena later. Hoping that they find the other stolen pups and rescue them as well as I'm sure that they are being "groomed" to fight.

For some reason my first comment didn't make it past the thought police, but I basically what I said was to save the taxpayers some money and give Jermel a taste of his own medicine. If it was good enough for the dog, it's certainly good enough for this animal.

LOL Mi'Ke D

its not that wayne county has more animal cruelty cases all togehter, its just that NOW the news is interested it those kinds of cases in the county because of the big "hit" the puppy mill was. i think cases like this should be reported on a lot more so we get to see these monsters pictures so they can be properly shunned from society.

According to the news argus, the puppy was not seriously injured...
