Raleigh, N.C. — An 18-year-old woman is facing a driving while impaired charge for a Tuesday afternoon wreck a car she was driving and involving a Wake County sheriff's deputy's county-owned vehicle.
Raleigh police said the deputy tried to stop Hannah Lee Ritz at the intersection of Glenwood Avenue and Ebenezer Church Road. Ritz didn't stop and hit the deputy's cruiser, police said.
According to the wreck report, police suspected Ritz, of 6209 N. Hills Drive, in Raleigh, was under the influence of drugs at the time of the wreck.
No one was injured.
