Site SearchDurham, N.C. — Durham police were investigating an accident involving a pedestrian Monday evening at Guess and Horton roads.
Police said Allison Lauren Winokur, 22, was crossing the street at the intersection when a Chevrolet Blazer hit her.
Paramedics transported Winokur by ambulance to Duke University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Christopher Scott Taylor, 22, police said.
No charges had been filed late Monday.
