Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh police were searching for a gunman Monday evening after a shooting along Poole Road.
At about 7:45 p.m., police responded to a shooting in the 2400 block of Poole Road. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim.
Paramedics transported the unidentified man to WakeMed for treatment of serious injuries, spokesman Jim Sughrue said.
The shooting was being investigated by the department's Major Crimes Task Force. Anyone with information that might assist detectives with the case is asked to call the Detective Division at 919-996-3555 or Crime Stoppers at 919-226-CRIME.
