Fayetteville, N.C. — Five men broke into a Waffle House in Fayetteville early Monday, cooked a meal and left without eating it, police said.
The restaurant's cook, Joseph McClov, told police he was the only person in the Waffle House on Raeford Road at about 3:30 a.m. Monday when the men knocked at the door. When he opened the door, five people entered the restaurant, rounded the counter and began to cook, McClov said.
McClov said they fled when he threatened to call police.
