Motorcyclist dies in Mount Olive wreck

e-mail print friendly

A motorcyclist died in a single-vehicle wreck on West Main Street, just west of Mount Olive, around noon Saturday.

State troopers said Dennis Alan Brock, 48, of Mount Olive, was driving a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle west on West Main Street. Brock lost control as he entered a right-hand curve and ran off the left side of the road, near Country Club Road.

Brock died at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Troopers said that Brock's son was following him on another motorcycle but was not involved in the wreck.
