Site SearchClayton, N.C. — A wreck east of Clayton sent a 9-year-old boy and two teenagers to the hospital Friday morning, state troopers said.
A Chevrolet sedan was heading north on Thanksgiving Fire Road, and a blue minivan was going east on Jordan Narron Road shortly after 7 a.m. Troopers said the minivan's driver failed to yield at a stop sign, causing a T-bone collision with the Chevrolet.
Three occupants of the minivan sustained non-serious injuries. Two teenagers were taken to Johnston Medical Center-Smithfield, and a 9-year-old boy was transported to WakeMed in Raleigh.
