Durham police are trying to find Robert Ebey Taylor, 31, who is wanted on break-in and fraud charges.

Police charged Taylor, of Sana Court, with breaking into an occupied house near Barbee Road around noon on Jan. 28.

The resident told officers that someone kicked in her door and she confronted a man inside the house. The man and an accomplice fled without taking anything, police said.

Officers arrested Gilbert Rochelle Jr., 20, of Lynn Road shortly after the break-in was reported.

Investigators charged Rochelle and Taylor each with breaking and entering, attempted larceny and injury to property. Taylor is also charged with obtaining property by false pretense.

Anyone with information on Taylor’s whereabouts is asked to call Investigator A.M. Sterling at 919-560-4415, ext. 233, or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests in felony cases, and callers never have to identify themselves.

He isnt on probation and its been 5 years since he got out of jail for similar crimes.

How much you want to wager he's on probation currently for having committed a similar crime within the last 2 years?

It just so happens that a relative had a pic of "Bob" standing in front of a brick wall that they were willing to share.
