You could not pay me $65 to hear Garrison Keiler. Makes me mad every time I think my tax dollar goes to support this bitter pill. And why do they call it DPAC? Is it so hard to say Durham Performing Arts Center? DPAC sounds like a new government program.

Notice this article is not getting many posts. Its because most people don't care. Its public radio. Just as bad a PBS.

I listen to this from time to time on Sat evenings. Keilor is a great story teller. My 14 yr old was with me, even he became interested and listened until the end. I bet this would be a great show.

Lake wobegon is the best part of that. He can spin a story that keeps you listening. I think that the way he tells it is a big part of it's appeal.

I agree. This might be a really good Father's Day present.
