Man accused of using counterfeit credit cards at Raleigh mall

A man, arrested Monday at Crabtree Valley Mall, is accused of using counterfeit credit cards.

Erskine Spruill, 46, was charged with 71 counts of financial transaction card forgery, according to the arrest warrant.

A mall spokesperson said the arrest was part of a multi-agency investigation.

Spruill was being held Monday on a $1 million bond.

I wonder how he was caught? This is why I don't use multiple credit cards. How did he get the card information in the first place? Why can't people use news events to educate the general public on how to protect their identity? Do people not cancel their cards if their wallet is stolen? WOW, the bail is high. I'm guessing that he will not be getting out of jail. I have many questions...

Murder suspects don't get that high of a bail.

mrr its just like the kid who in florida was watching a wrestling match and was roughhousing with his sister and unfortunately she dies.. this kid was sent to prison at 13 yrs old... a brooklyn cop off duty was drunk driving and crashes into a van with a pregnant woman inside.. the woman and her baby are killed and he just gets a slap on the wrist... being a public or govenrment sevant apparently has priveledges including embezzlement and manslaughter
