Rocky Mount, N.C. — A Rocky Mount man was killed when a tractor-trailer hit him on Interstate 95 near Red Oak Battleboro Road Thursday.
Highway Patrol troopers said Stanley Warren Acrey, 53, was standing in the middle of the interstate.
The tractor-trailer driver was not injured.
No other information about the accident was available.
