Multi-jurisdictional drug-tracking probe nets arrests

Five people were arrested this week after a multi-jurisdictional drug trafficking probe that began in the Greenville area and ended in Durham.

Investigators seized 37 kilograms of cocaine, with an estimated street value of $1.2 million, during the Monday bust.

Joseph Brown, Jr. of New Orleans, Sergio Reyes of Houston, Curtis Hagan of Houston, Nathan Forman of New Orleans, and Joseph Briscoe of Houston were charged with trafficking cocaine and conspiracy to possess cocaine.

The suspects were in the Durham County Jail Thursday under a total bond of $10 million.
