Cary, N.C. — Cary police are investigating an armed robbery and aggravated assault that they said took place Sunday at 200 Torrey Pines Drive.
According to police reports, a man called police just before 11 p.m. and said he had been robbed in his home at gunpoint. The thief made off with cash and a debit card.
A police spokesman said investigators believe the crime was an isolated incident and do not think there is a widespread threat in the neighborhood.
He asked residents to report unusual activity in their neighborhoods to Cary Police at 919-469-4012.
