Raleigh, N.C. — A condolence book is available in the Capitol Building for North Carolina residents to sign in memory of former Gov. Bob Scott.
Scott, who served as lieutenant governor from 1965 to 1969 and governor from 1969 to 1973, died Friday morning. He was 79.
The condolence book will be available until Friday evening.
Last week, Gov. Beverly Perdue ordered all state flags to be flown at half-staff until sunset Tuesday in Scott's honor.
