Raleigh police say that a 27-year-old man fired a gun at a man in another vehicle while driving down Wade Avenue Thursday night.

Charlie Moon Lytle, of Raleigh, faces a charge of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

Police said Lytle and Timothy Loy Taylor got into a dispute, and at some point, they drove off in separate vehicles. However, Lytle followed Taylor from the Glenwood Avenue area and onto Interstate 440, police said.

When the vehicles got on Wade Avenue, near Blue Ridge Road, Lytle fired shots into Taylor’s vehicle, police said. No one was injured.

Lytle was being held in the Wake County Jail under a $250,000 bond Saturday evening. His first court appearance was set for Monday.

The wackiest, most violent person I ever knew had an IQ of 160+. He never thought he was wrong about anything, so when he was opposed, he lost his cool and did very stupid things. I'll take my normal IQ any day.

High IQ as far as Book Sense. Low IQ as far as Common Sense.

Being smart is one thing. Knowing how to apply that knowledge is another.

IQ has nothing to do with being a felon.

Wow i know this guy and I would have never thought he would do something like this, his IQ is like 160 or more and very quiet! But i guess you never know these days what people will do when they get mad.
