Durham, N.C. — A pedestrian was killed on Saturday in a hit-and-run in the parking lot of a Buy Quick Food Marts convenience store at 1204 Worth Street, the Durham watch commander said.
The victim’s name was not released.
Authorities said a vehicle traveling westbound on Worth Street around 5:18 p.m. made a left into the parking lot and struck the male pedestrian. The vehicle left the scene headed southbound on Aston Avenue.
There was no description available of the driver or the vehicle.
