Raleigh, N.C. — A Raleigh police officer was injured Thursday morning in a vehicle collision on Poole Road at Carya Drive, a spokesman said.
The officer was making a U-turn when his patrol car and another vehicle collided. Police said the cruiser was hit from behind.
The officer was taken to Wake Med with minor injuries. No other injuries were reported and the cause of the wreck had not been determined.
