e-mail print friendly

A White Oak woman was killed Tuesday afternoon in a collision at Steadman Cedar Creek Road and N.C Highway 210.

Larry Council told investigators from the North Carolina Highway Patrol that he stopped at the intersection, then proceeded, striking a 2006 Ford being driven by Cheryl Kelly.

Council, Kelly and a passenger in Kelly's car were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Frances Ann Shaw, 36, of 1316 Ferry Road in White Oak, was a passenger in Council's car.

Council may face charges in the wreck, troopers said, but no charges had been filed Tuesday evening.

The story is not very well written but I think it was Ms. Shaw who died. I drove by this accident scene yesterday on the way to a basketball game. There were emergency vehicles everywhere and one car in the field. I had no idea it was as serious as this. My condolences to the family.

So, did Frances Shaw die from injuries? This story is not written well.
