Silver Alert

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert Monday for Peggy Denise Bonilla, 35, of Selma.

Bonilla suffers from several medical conditions and is deaf, according to Selma police.

She was last seen at 604 Temple St. wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and gray sweat pants. Police said she might be driving a white SUV of an unknown make and model.

Bonilla is 5 feet 4 inches, 150 pounds with brown, shoulder-length hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information about Bonilla should call Officer D. P. Wilson at the Selma Police Department at 919-965-8189.

Why do they post Silver Alerts every time an adult is supposedly missing for a few hours? No one takes these seriously anymore.

I have a good imagination but is it too much to ask to maybe post a picture of this lady? (it) would make (it) a little easier to recognize (her) if I happen to see her. And on a different note, not that it happened in this particular article but if they didn't say it, don't include it, putting it in Parenthesis is not required, most of the viewing public has half a brain and can figure (it) out. Thanks, I (feel) better now.
