Smithfield, N.C. — Smithfield police were investigating a shooting that injured one person Saturday night.
The shooting occurred at Broadway and Martin Streets, off Brogden Road, around 9 p.m., according to the Johnston County Sheriff's Office. Police transported one victim to Johnston Memorial Hospital.
No more information, including the victim's identity, have been released.
