Durham, N.C. — Durham County Tax Administration officials said about 7,000 forms mailed to businesses earlier this week contain incorrect information.
The error was caused when a file created in December produced duplicate numbers in the computer system, officials said in a release. The error caused incorrect information to be printed on the forms.
The file has been corrected and revised forms will be mailed in several days.
Businesses have until Feb. 2 to list or request an extension for filing their personal property assets.
