Vigil planned for missing Granville County mother

Kelly Morris, of Stem

The family of a missing Granville County mother is holding a prayer vigil on Sunday, the day she would have turned 29-years-old

Kelly Morris was last seen the night of Sept. 3 by her husband, Scott Morris, and two children at their home at 3220 Tump Wilkins Road in Stem. The home caught on fire the next day, and police found Morris' car, keys, purse and cell phone in an undeveloped subdivision.

The vigil will be held at 5 p.m. at The Gazebo on Central Avenue in Butner.

The Granville County Sheriff's Office is still investigating Kelly's disappearance. Kelly Morris' husband, Scott, has been the focus of several search warrants, but he hasn't been charged in the case.

The Currin family is offering a $30,000 reward for information about Kelly's disappearance.

Family members say they will not stop searching and urge anyone with any information to contact Granville County sheriff's investigators at 919-693-3213 or a volunteer search line at 919-812-2310.

CJjunkie, the person who hurt kelly may eventually talk to someone in a bar or something, and if they have never heard her story they make think the person is just talking outta their drunkeness and blow it off....you never know who her story will reach for the first time....its better to give people the option to look at another story whos seen hers before, and give those who havent the option to learn. i hope they find kelly and soon, i cant imagine what a truly painful journey this has been for her loved ones, and her kids must be so lost without their mom....still praying for kelly and everyone involved....

Happy Birthday Kelly!!!

They will stop when they bring her home!!!

My heart goes out to the Currin Family and Friends...especially Kelly's 2 Daughters.

Happy Birthday Kelly!

If it were someone close to you would you stop until you found out? Not me.. I hope they eventually find some peace.

Until their is justice!
