Silver Alert issued for missing Cary woman

Bettie Fontaine Thompson

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered Cary woman.

Bettie Fontaine Thompson, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment, was last seen at 200 Wren Drive.

The 59-year-old Caucasian woman is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 230 pounds.  She has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Thompson was wearing a leather coat, a white and brown sweater, dark brown pants and brown shoes.

Anyone with information about Thompson should call the Cary Police Department at 919-469-4012.
