Clayton, N.C. — A tractor-trailer jackknifed in a wreck also involving two cars on U.S. Highway 70 East in Clayton Monday morning.
The truck ended up in the median after the wreck near Robertson Street shortly before 7 a.m. The two cars were on the side of the highway.
No injuries were reported, officials said.
Part of the truck, which was an unloaded flatbed, was sticking out into the highway, blocking the left lane. Damage to the truck made it unable to be driven, officials said.
What caused the wreck was not immediately clear.
