Fire hits store in Durham mall

Durham, N.C. — A fire broke out in a Roses store in the North Duke Mall around noon Saturday, Durham police said.

The fire started in the Christmas decorations area of the store at 3600 N. Duke St.

No one was injured in the fire.

That's the last thing this store needs, it's seem to be have difficulty. I often patronize this store in northern Durham in hopes that Walmart might have some competition and I have give it a complement. I often find products made in the USA there which of course are gone from Walmart's shelves.
