Hillsborough, N.C. — A 9-year-old Raleigh boy was killed Sunday in a wreck on N.C. Highway 57 in Orange County, authorities said.
A car making a left turn from New Sharon Church Road pulled onto the highway at about 3 p.m. Sunday and struck the car in which Demarcus Hasty was riding, authorities said.
No other injuries were reported.
Troopers said they would talk with prosecutors to determine what charges, if any, to file in the case.
