Garner, N.C. — Police said they were treating the case of a 19-month-old baby, whose body was found late Friday, as a suspicious death.
The child, whose name wasn't released, was found dead in a residence at 1852 Spring Drive, police said. The body was sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Chapel Hill for an autopsy.
Police wouldn't say who called 911 or what was said during the call.
On Monday, the home was still roped off with crime scene tape, and investigators went in and out collecting evidence.
