Raleigh, N.C. — A 29-year-old man stabbed his wife and another man during a domestic dispute at a Raleigh apartment early Saturday, police said.
Police responded to a call at 705 Navaho Drive, Apartment 104, just after 1:30 a.m. Inside, officers Sonia Villatoro and Rafael Sorto-Pineda.
Both victims had been stabbed in the neck and and other body parts, police said. They underwent surgery and were expected to make a full recovery, authorities said.
Villatoro’s husband, Nelson Antonio Cruz, 29, was arrested and charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and inflicting serious injury.
Cruz was being held at the Wake County Jail under a $300,000 bond. His first court appearance was set for Monday.
