I recently received an email with a story that Maureen Dowd had supposedly written about part of Barack Obama’s money coming from “suspicious offshore sources”. The email touts Ms. Dowd’s credentials in effort to give lend credibility to the story. Checking it out, I found that Ms. Dowd’s actual column published on the date in question was about Hilary Clinton’s supporters. She never wrote the story in the email(which was rife with misinformation and downright lies). It makes me ill that people accuse politicians/candidates of playing dirty and feeding the American public lies while these very same people are proponents of and contributors to the same acts of manipulative misinformation. Even sadder is there people out there who are unable to sift through the trash to find the truth. They zre casting votes based on these blatant lies! Mr. Jarman, you can be assured I will never purchase an insurance policy from you & hope others who read this won't either.

Mr. Jarman says that he recants his story, but judging from his postings on various right wing websites, he claims that these actions were witnessed first hand. The amount of hate that spews forth from these nut jobs is truly incredible. Mr. Jarman sounds apologetic, but judging from the company he keeps online, he is just as radical as the rest. "No Christmas in the White House...Obama is a Muslim...terrorists take over the U.S government," etc. Did you know, Mr. Jarman, that Barack Obama is NOT a Muslim...but what if he was? So what? Did you know, Mr. Jarman, that the U.S. Constitution forbids an exclusion from public office based on religious affiliation? You wouldn't want to go against the U.S. Constitution, would you? Some people might think that YOU'RE the terrorist. So now, your crackpot story has caught up with you and you back down. Typical Republican flip-flopper manipulating the conservative media elites.
