You do not get to hang out with him if you are (dare i say) Joe the plumber. Humility is a character issue and is hardly revealed in the running of a political race, so not to sure where you get that from. Now if you expect his wife to say something against her husband who is running for president of the US then again I say - read your screen name. He did back the bailout plan. The first time as well. He gained their confidence in the same way deperate housewives has - marketing. And Marketing is packaging, presenting a package, that usually is not the full story.

For the first time in my eligible voting days, I see a candidate who genuinely and passionately wants to serve the American people and not just himself, and his constituents. I see a humble candidate, from modest means, who has endured the personal trials comparable to that of the average american. When Lsrry King asked Michelle Obama what angers Barack, she offered stories about Barack's anger with the health insurance industry. She spoke of how frustrated he felt that teachers, construction workers and the rest of middle america struggles daily while Wall Street is bailed out. I don't get the impression that he is simply performing lip service as every other politician has/does. I honestly believe he is committed to accomplishing his agenda. He has successfully enthused young voters, united people across demographic lines and gained much of America's confidence despite allegations of him not being experienced. And he has upset Mccain in every debate. Obama for mankind!
