Fayetteville, N.C. — Cumberland County sheriff’s detectives are searching for a man who robbed a Kangaroo Convenience Store early Monday.
Investigators say the man entered the store at 2990 Gillespie Street shortly before 2 a.m. and bought a bag of chips.
When the register drawer opened, he put his hand inside, grabbed money and ran from the store, authorities said.
The robber is described as a black man, ranging in age from 35 to 40 years old, approximately 6 feet tall with short, graying hair. He was last seen wearing a grey coat.
