Raleigh, N.C. — The owners of a business advertised as a men's sex club in Raleigh could be evicted from its facility.
City Manager Russell Allen said Monday that the property manager of the company that houses the Marketing and Network Fellowship Group told city inspectors he had no idea what the business was for when he leased the space. He told city officials he is revoking the lease.
The group, which is registered as a nonprofit agency, has advertised as being a clubhouse for men to go to engage in sexual activities for a $79 monthly membership fee.
Raleigh city officials said last week they were unaware of the group and that it has no permits or adult entertainment licenses with the city.
Attempts to contact three individuals listed on paperwork for the group – Joshua Stilwell, Greg Leonard and Calvin Pleasants – have been unsuccessful.
