Three injured in Raleigh wreck

Raleigh police were investigating a wreck that sent three people to a hospital Monday morning.

The crash happened around 2 a.m. on Newton Road near Harps Mill Road. Alcohol might have been a factor, police said.

The driver of a Ford Explorer swerved, over-corrected and flipped over, police said. Emergency crews took three people in the vehicle to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators said they weren’t sure who was driving the vehicle or exactly how many people were riding in it. A second vehicle might have been involved in the crash, police said.

No other details were available.
