Site SearchDurham, N.C. — Police were trying to solve the theft of numerous storm grates from five streets during the past three weeks.
Investigators said that someone has taken grates from the 1100 block of of Merrick Street, 1000 block of Ramseur Street, Grant Street, Umstead Street and Riddle Road. Replacement grants on Merrick Street have also been stolen.
Anyone with information on the thefts was asked to call Investigator A.M. Sterling at 919-560-4415, ext. 233.
