Chapel Hill, N.C. — A woman was charged Wednesday with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill after her former boyfriend was hit by a car, police said.
Sabrina Shaw, 30, was being held Thursday in the Orange County Jail under a $100,000 bond.
Police said the incident began as a domestic argument, and officers responded to Piney Mountain Road after receiving a call that a man had been hit by a car.
Curtis Watson suffered injuries to his right arm and right leg and had a cut near his right eye, police said. He was taken to Durham Regional Hospital for treatment, but there was no word Thursday on his condition.
