Raleigh, N.C. — Police have searched two locations believed to be connected to a shooting in Raleigh.
Roberto Torres-Cruz, 21, was shot Aug. 30 outside 3104 Woodpecker Court. Reynaldo "Ray" Zamora-Marcial, 26, was charged with his murder.
In the process of the investigation, police searched the home of Zamora-Marcial and another man believed to have driven the getaway vehicle.
According to a search warrant, witnesses reported seeing a black Chevy S-10 truck leaving the scene of the crime. Police found a similar vehicle parked at 607 Ralph Drive and searched that location.
They also searched Zamora-Marcial's home at 1838 Fountain Drive, seizing documents, a checkbook and check card and a cellphone.
Zamora-Marcial was last seen wearing a white polo shirt with dark brown stripes, blue jean shorts, white tennis shoes and white socks. He is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighs about 165 pounds.
