Castalia man's death ruled homicide

Authorities on Wednesday were investigating the death of a man whose body was found Tuesday in a Castalia home.

Nash County deputies found Stanley Chi, 50, of 11390 Red Bud Road, dead in his home at about 9 a.m. Tuesday. An autopsy determined he had been shot.

No information as to where he was shot or what weapon was used has been released.

The Nash County Sheriff’s Office has offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Nash County Sheriff’s Office at 252-459-4121.
