Raleigh shooting victim identified

Raleigh police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened early Wednesday in the 1900 block of Hawkins Street.

Police responded to a report that someone had been shot shortly after midnight and found a man behind the Valero Mart. He was taken to WakeMed, where he died.

The man was identified as 47-year-old Constantino Martinez-Hernandez, police said. They didn't release any information about suspects or a possible motive.
