Police are looking for a Timberlake man wanted in connection with three home break-ins Person County, the sheriff’s office said Friday.

Christopher Dean Trivett, 32, of 621 Saplin Branch Road, faces first degree burglary and felony larceny charges.
Police said the break-ins began about 10 p.m. Thursday night and continued until 3 p.m. Friday.

Authorities believe the burglaries began after the suspect stole a car from the Wal-Mart in Roxboro. After the vehicle was stolen, police said Trivett stole weapons from a home at 290 Brooks Car Drive in Roxboro.

After robbing a home in the Guess Road area in Hurdle Mills, police said Trivett wrecked the vehicle and abandoned it across the street from 895 Guess Road, where a third robbery occurred.

There were no injuries in any of the burglaries; however police said Trivett used a shot gun when he broke into the home at 895 Guess Road.

All of the stolen weapons have been recovered.

The sheriff does not believe the home burglaries were random.

Trivett remains at large and is believed to be armed and dangerous.

The search has extended to Orange and Granville counties.

I'm surprised they have time to look for this person. They're pretty busy harrassing the teenagers and writing bogus traffic tickets. Some things never change. Not all of them mind you, but a few of them really have some issues.

WRAL...you've failed to mention the sexual assault!!! Funny, I just emailed our sheriff, last week, advising him that our hospital doesn't have a sexual assault nurse examiner on staff at the present time....perhaps he'll listen now. I am relentless! I am praying for this victim and pray she was given information for a support system [outside Person County for they've failed to provide one]

OH MY GOD! Could it be, the Person County Sheriff's office is actually investigating something? Are the martians landing next? It must have been a really important person that was victimized by this character because normally they don't investigate, they advise you to "just move."
