RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina State sophomore Whitney Blakeney, 19, must live at home if she makes $25,000 bond, a judge ruled Thursday.
Blakeney was arrested Wednesday in relation to the shooting near the Wolf Village apartments.
She is charged with accessory after the fact.
Blakeney was also charged with maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of selling marijuana, a charge that carries an automatic expulsion from university housing. She has been banned from university property.
Blakeney is the fourth person charged in a crime that police believe is gang-related.
Another N.C. State sophomore, Ryan Barnes, 20, and two men, Leroy Barnes Jr., 19, and Terrell Grimes, 16, were charged Tuesday with attempted murder and assault. All were in jail under $1 million bonds.
Police said a man was shot in the stomach and a woman shot in the foot while sitting under a campus gazebo early Monday. The believe the man was the target.

Of course you'd assume that just b/c they are black, that they somehow got in on a free ride and that they don't have good grades. Pure ignorance. Smart kids do stupid stuff all the time. Anyone who's been on a college campus knows this. Until you see these kids GPA, it's ignorant to say that they shouldn't have been there. I'm not excusing what they did and they should be punished. But, this has nothing to do w/ race, so put your deck up.

Now think back to Duke Lacrosse. Didn't Duke lay a swift hand at accusation?

How do you know she isn't qualified? Have you ever seen her high school transcript? Do you know anything about her other than what you're reading here? I'm not in any way defending her behavior, but comments like yours make you look...well...stupid.
