Just so you know, the score that is published is like a golf score...the lower, the better. Next...

WHAT? The system had the lowest score in the state. Then they requested a retest and improved to still below average. They are a complete failure when it comes to ensuring the safety of children.

Let me give you some facts...the bus was on it's way to get repaired so it can remain safe for students like the other buses are. The transportation department did investigate and the buses are safe. It's just like your car breaking down. All things mechanical can break down. The annual review that you mentioned isn't a pass or fail review. Therefore, transportation didn't fail the last two reviews. As a matter of fact, the last review was better than the one prior to it. Research before stating untruths...

The transportation department has investigated. They do an annual review of the buses and WCPSS has failed miserably the last two tests. Their buses are in disgraceful condition and I will not allow my children on them.

One of the inspection forms revealed that one bus had the simultaneous conditions of no fire extinguisher and a fuel leak. Another had holes in the floorboards and an exhaust leak.

Didn't another Wake Co. bus with the engine in the back catch fire last year? Let's hope it's two isolated incidences! The Transportation Department should investigate. Glad noone was injured!
