Fort Bragg, N.C. — A private family service in Kansas will be held for a slain pregnant soldier.
Army Spc. Megan Touma was found dead in a bathtub in her hotel room on June 21.
Police are investigating the former Cold Spring, Ky., resident’s death as a homicide.
Touma, who joined the Army in 2003, had recently been transferred from the U.S. Army Dental Clinic in Bamberg, Germany.
She was assigned to the 19th Replacement Company at Fort Bragg.
A private family service will be held for Touma in Kansas. Funeral details were withheld.
Touma’s family has asked that memorials be made to the Yellow Ribbon Support Center, 700 Eastgate Blvd. South, Suite 430, Cincinnati, Ohio 45245.
