Chapel Hill, N.C. — Lightning might have sparked a fire at a Chapel Hill home, investigators said.
The fire, above the garage of a two-story home at 205 Madera Lane, started at about 9:23 p.m. Saturday.
Crews from Chapel Hill, Carborro, North Chatham, Durham and New Hope fire departments responded to the blaze.
The fire was brought under control by midnight.
No one was injured.
Investigators said severe storms caused lightning strikes throughout the area, but the exact cause of the fire had not been released Sunday afternoon.
