Man's body recovered from Wake swimming pool

A Louisburg man might have drowned in a swimming pool near Zebulon on Friday afternoon.

Rescuers recovered the body of Curtis Morrison, 65, of 4388 N.C. Highway 39 South, around 5 p.m. The possible drowning occurred in a residential swimming pool the 9100 block of Dukes Lane Road.

Morris' body has been sent to the Office of the State Chief Medical Examiner in Chapel Hill. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.

Wake County officials said Morris could have died of a health problem.
