Henderson, N.C. — A North Carolina wildlife officer died in a motorcycle crash in Vance County Monday night.
Troopers say Eddie Vaughan, 38, lost control of his motorcycle.
He crossed the center line into oncoming traffic on Allison Cooper Road in Henderson around 8:45 p.m.
Vaughan was from Kittrell. No charges were filed.
