Knightdale, N.C. — Police say that a man who killed by a pickup truck around midnight Saturday was intoxicated.
Police said the man was attempting to cross at 7905 Knightdale Blvd./U.S. Highway 64 Business shortly before midnight when he fell. A red Dodge Ram then ran over him.
Investigators said they do not expect to file charges in the wreck.
The deceased's identity has been withheld, pending notification of family.
